Can anyone tell me if the tires for the powderpuff race come with foams?

Mike,

My son was wondering if there was going to be a mini-t track again this year? See you all in 3.5 days.

The tires from Panther do come with the stock panther foams. This year we will have a fleet of Traxxas slashes instead on the Mini-Ts and will be doing rentals and running races for the kids in the pole building.

When I updated my profile on rcsignup.com it took my name off of the preregistered list for the 1/10th mod class, is there anyway to make sure you still have my entry information? Thanks Jeremy Bertsinger

To Mike and all of the FHF crew,

Another outstanding job done by all of you. The track was once again a very fun layout. The racing was very intense yet very fun. I can not wait until next year. Have the calendar setup and already counting down the days. This is going to continue to get bigger every year as I am sure that Cody King, Ryan Maifield, and others will go back home and tell their friends about this event. Keep up the great work and will see you next year.

THANKS Mike & FHF crew!
I had a GREAT time. Racing was the best met some new people and everyone was as friendly as ever. I want to thank everyone that helped me out . Having nice and friendly people helping me with my Trucks make the problems more bearable. Always hearing don't worry we will get you back in the race. Thanks to Steve Slayden (Traxxas) for taking the time out when he was working on his Truck to help me with mine giving me valuable tips wrenching on my Truck and tuning it to prefection. Steve has a coolwrite up on his page at the Traxxas sight. Thanks for your REVO body. Great souvenier. Can't wait until next year.

Thanks everyone who joined us at this years newly named RC X Fest V !! This years event was a little more stressful than usual knowing that we had 3 of the top drivers in country . It was awesome to see these guys tear up the track and what was even more fun was to get to know them off the track as well! Tamiya’s Ryan Lutz is one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet, he was here to have fun at the X Fest! He looked like he had the Pro Buggy A main all wrapped up, he flamed out with a few minutes to go and ended up second, he came off the stand with a huge smile on his face and I said to him that really sucked, he just smiled and said it was a great race and he’ll try again next year! Ryan also took his Truggy in the Spuds again this year, launched it off the mountain in the big air contest and went out to play spoiler in the Last Man Standing Race! He is all about having fun at this event and to top it off Monday he teamed up with the Loosenuts Team and with Mike Overman driving Gas Truck, Tony Sletten driving the Truggy and Ryan and his Buggy they won the 2 hour Team Race. Team Kyosho’s Cody and Paul King were awesome, Cody drove that Truggy like he stole it! Keep your eyes on this kid, he is fearless and is only going to get faster! Paul King is a master mechanic with these cars. He was super nice and helped numerous people all weekend with any kind of questions about there vehicles and I believe he even rebuilt a motor or two for some lucky racers. Asocciated’s Ryan Maifield was as awesome off the track as he was on the track. The guy can drive a RC like no other and was the life on the party in pits. He made a lot of new friends here and was allways ready to B.S. about anything with anyone! Traxxas’s Steve Slayden joined us this year and was checking out our competition in the Monster Truck class. Steve spent more time this weekend wrenching on other peoples vehicles than his own! He helped get more people dialed in on the track than I have ever seen before, just ask Rico!! He still managed to go out and win the MT class, and also dominated the Open Slash class with his box stock Slash on Friday night. I learned a lot watching and hanging out with these pros for the weekend, first off … I will NEVER be as fast as they are! But to watch them practicing, racing and wrenching, they are hard core and to see all the set up changes they try was simple awesome. Maifield would have his cars torn completely down 10 minutes after his race was over and spit shined and ready to go in no time. It was a absolute pleasure having these guys here, but the real thanks go out to all the racers who came out and raced this year, and especially to those that have supported this race year after year. So many people helped out this year and that’s exactly what I need to help keep this event going. I know there was some rumors going around about this being the last year, but not to worry, RC X Fest VI is on!

A big thanks to the following people for all their help making the RC X Fest possible!

My wife Chris, she runs herself ragged doing this event, she is my Xena warrior princess!! Congrats to her on her Powderpuff win!
Rob Logan who has been a diehard from the beginning and we couldn’t have made it this far without him.
Casey Rostad for all his help with track construction and everything else I throw at him
Paulette for taking charge of banners this year and helping Chris with everything and helped keep her sanity over the weekend!
Gabe “Sherpa” Leonard our new webmaster and gopher for the weekend and lots of video footage shot over the weekend
Shawn Noack for all his help, before, during and after the event
Ricco and his crew for all the help building and tearing down the mountain, that alone makes me willing to do this again next year!!
Joe and Amber Vanderheyden for running the Slash track and helping with setup and teardown
Notch Johnson for running a great race program and awesome announcing for 3 years now and helping me keep my sanity over the weekend!
Brandon Rhode of LiveRC for broadcasting the event and helping us out with computer issues all weekend.
Jeff Ford for helping with entries and computer setup
John Schafer for getting our watering system setup and soaking the track whenever it was needed.
Corey Chuckna for the great event photos all weekend

Kerry and Chad Olson for keeping all of us feed over the weekend at the FHF Pit Stop!
Art and Patsy Fisk for working the front gate all weekend
The Loosenuts crew, Tim, Jane, Tony and Justin for all their help
Paul Schneider who showed up on Tuesday and tackled everything I threw at him!
Marshall Skare for helping with the Mountain
Shad Olson, J.D. Michel, Corey Johnson, Hunter Johnson and Sami Michel, my niece and nephews worked their butts off all week and helped volunteer corner marshalling
Mitch and Dylan Johnson for donating and laying all the carpet for the mountain
Corey Hins of Paintwerks Racing for the RC X Fest stickers
Kendall Welsh for remaking our new X Fest banners this year
Jason Pothen for helping design the race programs
Brad Welsh of SlapMaFro for designing and handling T-shirts for 2009

All of our factory Teams and sponsors who helped make this event possible

I’m sure I missed a few, but thanks again to everyone who came out and raced with us over the weekend, we look forward to seeing you again next year at RC X Fest 2010!
